FarmVille Fairy Tale Model Farm with Unreleased Items (Click to Enlarge)
The latest FarmVille Model Farm feature has been a very convenient way for farmers to check what the latest items on the FarmVille Market are. With the recent update, the Model Farm has now been updated with those, and a few new items!
Some of these items are in fact, still unreleased! Check out the items such as the Knight Gnomes & the Fairy Tale Cottage that have been placed on the Model Farm!

Apparently, a brand new tree has been popping up on FarmVille Freak’s farms from Mystery Seedlings! The Giant Cocoa Tree seems to be the latest addition to the Mystery Seedlings produced from Orchards.

This Giant Cocoa tree is also masterable, and here are the levels:
- Level 1 – 75
- Level 2 – 225
- Level 3 – 450

“Hey!
This morning when I got up I logged into my FarmVille and accepted my gifts, as usual. When I looked in my gift box there was a random Cinnamon Heart Tree and underneath it says from FarmVille. I haven’t claimed any trees from the news feed or anything. So I was just wondering if maybe FarmVille was giving them out since they’ve been having loading issues lately or if this has happened to anyone else? I’m just curious as to how a limited edition item costing farm cash ended up in my gift box. I’ve included a screen shot. And by the way, I am a huge fan of Farmville Freak! I’ve been farming since October ’09 and I found Farmville Freak shortly after that and I’ve been using it ever since! You guys are amazing!

Farmville has released Valentine Pony & Valentine Elephant as Valentine Themed Animals. Both of these animals are available for Farm Cash. These animals are available in the Farmville Market till Feb 18th, 2011.

Here is a mini-guide to help you choose the Duck you want your Duckling to grow into!

The important thing to know is that as soon as you start to grow your Duckling, a timer begins. As you know, you have to ask 7 of your neighbors to assist you with raising your Duckling.
The quicker your neighbors help you to raise the Duckling, the more choices you will have to grow your Duckling into. As we mentioned in the Duckling’s post, the Brown and Yellow Ducklings do not grow into the same Ducks & Swans.
Here is a list of the rewards when you grow a Yellow Duckling, along with the time limits (from right to left):
- Indian Runner Duck - If Duckling is raised in less than 24 hours
- Cayuga Duck – If Duckling is raised in 1 day
- Goldeneye Duck – If Duckling is raised in 2 days
- Red-Billed Duck – If Duckling is raised in 3 days
- Scoter Duck – If Duckling is raised in 4 days
- Pekin Duck – If Duckling is raised in 5 days
- Ugly Duckling – If Duckling is raised in 6 days

Dear Zynga,
Thanks for all the great Holiday celebrations and for kicking off the 2011 New Year with a bang.
We’ve had fun with all the Limited Edition decorations and animals. We appreciate you keeping content fresh and providing us with the materials to keep our farms looking snazzy.
Enough of the small talk though, what we are really wondering is if the “Farm Estate” 28 x 28 expansion really will be coming soon? You’ve been teasing us with its FarmVille Market placeholder for awhile now. TBD is both still to be determined and locked. So FarmVille Freaks everywhere have been patiently waiting for the Farm Coin expansion’s arrival. Others are not so patient, but we keep telling them to put down their virtual pitchforks and that you are just giving us enough time to save up our Farm Coins. Just letting you know that we’re done saving and ready to spend!
Some desperate farmers couldn’t wait it out any longer and even paid for more land in precious Farm Cash (120 Farm Cash). How long is “sometime after the New Year’s“? With each passing day, that Farm Cash option lingers in our minds and looks a little more appealing, especially if it means we’ll be waiting for a very long time. Please give us an update or some sign of life that the 28 x 28 Farm Estate expansion has not been forgotten.

FarmVille Cupid's Castle Place Now Notice
Get ready for Valentine’s Day as Cupid’s Castle makes its way to farms! Tonight, the beautiful building is slowly being rolled out to players. Some may receive the building with a pop up (seen above) while others may have to purchase it as part of a New Goal! (Check out more information about the New Quest here)
Along with being a constructible building, Cupid’s Castle will also be harvestable (similar to the Winter Workshop, Haunted House, etc).
